How it works

Start with one activity.

No pressure, no awkward group chat. Find something you'd actually show up for, request to join, and meet people through the activity.

1

Find an activity

Browse by city, category, or schedule. Activities are kept small, so it's easier to talk, join in, and feel part of the circle.

2

Request to join

Send a request and let the host review your profile and Circle Rep. Some activities may allow instant join, but most circles stay curated.

3

Show up & check in

When you arrive, check in with the host's QR. Your attendance helps build your Circle Rep and keeps the community reliable.

  • Search by activity title or location when you already know what you're looking for.

Circle Rep

Built by showing up, not just saying yes.

Circle Rep reflects how reliable someone is inside SatuCircle — from verified attendance, late cancellations, no-shows, and unresolved issues. It helps hosts make better decisions and keeps activities healthier for everyone.

  • +2

    Verified attendance

Arrive at the activity and check in with the host's QR.

  • −5

    Late cancellation

Request to leave less than 24 hours before the activity starts.

  • −10

    Confirmed no-show

You were approved, but didn't show up and weren't excused by the host.

Score 0–100. Members with repeated issues may move into a Limited or Restricted status until they rebuild their Circle Rep through verified attendance.

Mutual context

Trust goes both ways.

Both sides see the same kind of receipts. Before a host approves a request, they see the member's attendance history. Before a member requests to join, they can check the host's track record.

  • Context at approval time

When someone requests to join, hosts can see useful signals like Circle Rep, verified attendance, late cancellations, and no-shows before making a decision.

  • Host track record

Before requesting to join, members can view the host's profile, hosted activities, Circle Rep tier, and past activity history.

  • Same data, both ways

No one-sided judgment, no hidden notes. The history a host sees on you is the same kind of history you can see on them — transparency is symmetric.

Check-in

No manual attendance. Just scan and show up.

When the activity starts, the host opens a QR check-in. Approved members scan when they arrive, attendance is recorded automatically, and the host can see who's already there without calling names one by one.

  • Attendance window

Check-in opens 30 minutes before start and closes 30 minutes after the activity ends.

  • Live roster

The host roster updates as members check in, making it easier to see who arrived, who's late, and who didn't show up.

  • Circle Rep signal

Verified attendance helps build Circle Rep. Late check-ins and missed attendance are tracked clearly, so every activity has a cleaner record.

Real time

Everything moves as the activity moves.

Requests, approvals, cancellations, and check-ins update as they happen. Hosts can watch the roster change in real time, while members get notified when something important happens.

  • Live notifications

New join requests, approvals, leave requests, and activity updates appear right away in the notification bell.

  • Live attendance roster

As members scan the QR, their status updates instantly — making it easy for hosts to see who arrived, who's late, and who hasn't checked in.

  • Important updates

For key moments like request approval or activity cancellation, members can also receive email notifications.

FAQ

Common questions.

How is this different from a WhatsApp group or Meetup?
WhatsApp groups are great for chatting. Event platforms are great for listing events. SatuCircle is built for smaller activities that actually happen — with limited slots, host approval, QR check-in, and Circle Rep to help people show up with more intention.
Is it safe to meet new people through this?
SatuCircle is designed around public activities, host approval, and visible activity context. You can review a host’s profile before requesting to join, and hosts can review member context before approving. We’re also building reporting and safety tools for serious concerns like harassment, scams, or abuse.
I'm not a host. Can I just join?
Absolutely. You can browse activities, read the details, request to join, and show up. You don’t need to host anything to be part of SatuCircle — attending consistently is already a meaningful way to build your Circle Rep.
What if something comes up and I can't make it?
You can request to leave an activity. If it’s more than 24 hours before the start time, there’s usually no penalty. If it’s within 24 hours, it may count as a late cancellation. A confirmed no-show affects your Circle Rep more because the host already held a slot for you.
Is it free or paid?
SatuCircle is free to use during beta. Activities may vary — some are free, while others split venue or activity costs, like padel, board-game cafés, or workshops. Costs are shown up front before you request to join.
Which cities are live?
We’re starting with Jabodetabek — Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi. Bandung and Bali are next. Access opens gradually so we can keep early activities small, relevant, and community-first.
