Reviews are here + a smarter attendance flow

  • Reviews! After an activity you attended, rate it and the host (1–5 stars, with an optional comment). Post anonymously if you prefer. A host's average rating now shows on their profile — real reputation, built from people who actually showed up.
  • Hosts get a much clearer attendance flow. The roster now separates who's checked in from who still needs review, with one-tap Present / No-show / Excuse on each person.
  • Big event? New "Mark all remaining as present" button settles a 20+ roster in one tap — no more chasing everyone for a QR scan.
  • If your activity ends with members still unmarked, we email you to review the roster before it finalizes — so people who genuinely came don't get recorded as no-shows.

Sign-in sheets, verified badges & smarter profiles

  • Hosts can now download their attendee list — print a sign-in sheet for physical signatures or export a CSV. Handy when the venue has spotty internet.
  • Founder and Team accounts now carry a blue verified badge, so you can tell it's really us.
  • Past and cancelled activities no longer show a broken page. They stay viewable and point you toward similar upcoming activities.
  • Activity cards in Explore now lead with the host's banner image.
  • Peek before you join: profiles and activities give guests a preview of what's behind sign-up.
  • No-shows now count automatically. If you're approved but never check in, your Circle Rep takes the hit — showing up (or cancelling early) always beats ghosting.
  • Cleaner times everywhere (18:00 instead of 18:00:00) and a smoother mobile layout.

Banners, QR sharing, and host accountability

  • Hosts can upload a 3:1 banner image — we crop the centre and re-encode it so any photo works. No banner? Activities now show a category-coloured hero gradient instead of plain white.
  • Share modal gets a downloadable QR code — print one for IG stories, posters, or coworking flyers, and scanning opens the activity in SatuCircle.
  • Edit live activities: description, cost notes, venue (name, address, map), and slots are all editable after publishing. Locked-down: date, time, city, category, visibility, and cost type — those would change what members signed up for.
  • If you change the venue, approved members get an email so no one shows up at the wrong place.
  • Hosts have 72 hours after the activity ends to finalize attendance. After that, the roster freezes.
  • New "Host neglect" Circle Rep rule: if you host an activity with members and never mark attendance, you get a reminder email (1st time in 30 days), then a -5 Circle Rep hit on the second miss.
  • New activity categories: Sharing Session and Mentoring.

Smarter explore + cleaner profiles

  • New explore filters: filter by date (today / this week / this month), cost (free / paid), and sort by soonest, most popular, or newest.
  • Filters now live in a side drawer — easier to browse on both mobile and desktop, with active filters showing as removable chips.
  • Interest tags on profiles now show real category names (e.g. "Founder Coffee") instead of slugs.
  • Logged-in users keep the app shell when reading Help, Terms, or About — no more accidentally feeling logged out.
  • Stay logged in longer — sessions now last 30 days of inactivity instead of 2 hours.
  • Activity search is now case-insensitive on production.

Mobile-first refresh

  • New bottom navigation on mobile — Home, Explore, Search, and Activities one tap away.
  • Vanity profile URLs: your profile is now at /@username (the old /u/username still works).
  • Founder and Team badges for verified Kodebyte members.
  • Landing page now uses a slide-in drawer menu on mobile.
  • Notification bell on mobile opens the full notifications page instead of an overflowing dropdown.

  • Waitlist removed — anyone can sign up directly.
  • Email reminder one hour before your activity starts.
  • Expanded reserved username list and profanity filter.
  • Search page with separate tabs for activities and people.
  • Avatar menu cleaned up — Help, About, Terms, and Privacy now live here.

Q&A on every activity + public previews

  • Threaded questions on each activity page — ask the host before requesting to join. Hosts get email notifications.
  • Standalone public preview pages at /p/[id] — share an activity link with anyone, no login needed.
  • Custom OG cards for shared activity links (looks better on WhatsApp, Twitter, etc.).
  • Marketing pages — About, Help, Terms, Privacy, and Feedback — all fully filled in.

Live attendance + Circle Rep launch

  • QR check-in with live roster — hosts see tiles flip to green in real time as members scan in.
  • Circle Rep: a 0–100 trust score that reflects your verified attendance, cancellations, and host actions.
  • Hosts can cancel an activity with a reason; all approved participants are notified by email.
  • Activities auto-complete after they end via a background job, and trust events fire from there.
  • Leave activity is blocked once you're checked in — no accidental Circle Rep dings.
