Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SatuCircle ("Service", "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

SatuCircle is operated by PT Kodebyte Inti Teknologi, registered in Jakarta Barat, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use SatuCircle. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

We may suspend or restrict accounts that provide false information, misrepresent identity, or violate these Terms.

3. Account and Circle Rep

Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

SatuCircle uses Circle Rep, a reputation system that reflects activity behaviour on the Platform, including attendance, cancellations, no-shows, host actions, reports, and other platform signals.

We may adjust Circle Rep, activity records, account visibility, or account status where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, abuse, manipulation, repeated no-shows, misuse of the Platform, or violation of these Terms.

Account status may include Active, Limited, Restricted, or Suspended.

4. Activities

Activities on SatuCircle are created and organised by individual hosts, members, communities, or approved organisers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, activities are not organised, supervised, endorsed, or guaranteed by SatuCircle.

Hosts are responsible for providing accurate activity information, including location, time, cost, rules, capacity, and any relevant requirements. Hosts are also responsible for conducting the activity in a reasonable and respectful manner.

Members are responsible for reading activity details before requesting to join, showing up if approved, following activity rules, and communicating early if they can no longer attend.

By requesting to join an activity, you understand that the host may review your profile, Circle Rep, activity history, and other relevant platform signals before approving or rejecting your request.

By hosting an activity, you agree to manage requests, attendance, updates, cancellations, and participant experience within reasonable bounds.

5. Attendance, Cancellations, and No-Shows

Some activities may require check-in or attendance verification. If you are approved for an activity and fail to attend without being excused by the host, your Circle Rep may be affected.

If you can no longer attend an activity, you should request to leave as early as possible. Late cancellations or confirmed no-shows may affect your Circle Rep and account status.

SatuCircle may use attendance records, host confirmations, check-ins, reports, and other platform signals to determine activity outcomes and Circle Rep changes.

6. Payments

SatuCircle does not currently process payments for activities.

Activity costs, including venue rental, equipment, food, transport, deposits, or split bills, are settled directly between hosts and members. Hosts must clearly disclose expected costs before members request to join.

SatuCircle is not responsible for payment disputes, unpaid costs, refunds, deposits, or financial arrangements made directly between members and hosts.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use SatuCircle to:

• harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, or harm other members;
• organise unsafe, fraudulent, misleading, or illegal activities;
• promote illegal substances, illegal services, or activities that violate Indonesian law;
• solicit dating, sexual services, sex work, or inappropriate personal advances;
• run spam, scams, multi-level marketing, aggressive sales recruitment, or misleading commercial pitches;
• misrepresent your identity, profile, photos, affiliation, role, or activity details;
• impersonate another person, brand, organisation, host, venue, or SatuCircle representative;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, attack, or abuse the Platform, API, or infrastructure;
• manipulate Circle Rep, attendance, reviews, reports, or trust-related systems;
• circumvent moderation, account restrictions, suspensions, or safety controls;
• post content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful.

We may remove content, restrict activity visibility, adjust Circle Rep, suspend accounts, or take other action where we believe this section has been violated.

8. Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you post on SatuCircle, including profile information, activity descriptions, comments, messages, reviews, and other submitted content.

By posting content, you grant SatuCircle a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate, improve, and promote the Service.

You are responsible for the content you post and confirm that you have the right to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms, our policies, or applicable law.

9. Safety and Reports

SatuCircle is designed to help people meet through small, public, activity-based gatherings. However, meeting people offline involves risk.

You are responsible for using your own judgment when joining or hosting activities. We encourage members to meet in public venues, review activity details, check host/member context, and report concerning behaviour.

If you experience harassment, fraud, abuse, unsafe conduct, or other serious concerns, you should report it to us. We may review reports and take action, including restricting accounts, removing activities, adjusting Circle Rep, or suspending users.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings, where available, or by contacting us.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other members, abused the Platform, manipulated Circle Rep, or engaged in harmful conduct.

Account deletion or termination may not immediately remove historical records that are necessary for safety, dispute handling, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or accurate activity history.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

SatuCircle does not guarantee that:

• the Service will always be available, secure, or error-free;
• activities will happen as planned;
• hosts or members will behave as expected;
• activity information will always be accurate;
• meeting other members will be safe or risk-free.

You use the Service and participate in activities at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indonesian law, SatuCircle and PT Kodebyte Inti Teknologi shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to activity cancellations, no-shows, disputes between members, payment arrangements, offline interactions, injuries, loss of data, loss of reputation, or inability to access the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim shall be limited to the amount you paid to use the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. As the Platform is currently free to use, this amount may be IDR 0.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, website, email, or other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Barat.
